In Search of the Light

Yesterday, I and a friend of mine were off to buy a mobile, for him. Since he had already made his choice and had even decided on the shop, things were rather smooth for us. No bustling around trying to compare this with that and finally fall prey to the shopkeeper’s theatrical skills.
We were informed that they don’t have any working piece to try our hands-on. So we decided to buy the phone and finally after we did we said we wanted to test the phone at leisure. Being the kind host the shopkeeper was he had no qualms about it and we started looking into this funky gadget one feature after another.
What do you learn from the sea?
With the power bestowed
On its massive arms;
With all the unknown
Amidst its midst;
With knowledge and wisdom
From aeons of existence;
With a roar that can
Silence an army;
Justice has a strange way of implementing itself. No matter how fast or how far the wrong doer runs away from his misdoings, law catches up and rebukes the guilty. It is not always the law established by men for this is perhaps the weakest of laws when it comes to castigating the sinner; many a men do get away from law made by men equally wrong! But there are certain forces in nature which help those in distress, those who have been wronged to avenge the injustice that was done onto them. Death is not always the ultimate punishment, but probably not in this case.

Remember this:
When truth decides to speak out,
It leaves nothing unanswered.
Like the sun wiping out darkness,
It clears your doubts and calms your soul.
When lust and greed surround you,
When temptation lures you to dusk,
Take a look around and relax.
Truth walks just by your side.
In a fit of rage, I was!
With no one to reflect it upon,
With a rage burning within,
I turned to face the object of my distress – me!
I took a vase and hurled it at the mirror.
And with a crash it came down.
Cried I to it – “Break down you coward”
The mirror seemed to reflect my senses – it cried back!
When sweet little petals,
Can’t wait to cushion your feet;
When the ever beautiful moon,
Looses herself in your dark hair;
When roses and sandalwood forget their presence,
In your heavenly fragrance;
When the rays of sunlight try desperately,
To look into your unfathomable eyes;
Why do things begin to act so strange?
Just when you start racing up your age;
Just when you need to stick to your convictions;
Just when you are so full of life!
You have loads of chums around
And you have the world open to you;
Yet your mind starts craving for unknown desires,
Making you loose out on the fun!
