Road to Freedom

Long ago, when the world was chaotic, at a time, when no one knew the meaning of peace, when everything was gloomy, God decided to create a fine feathery creature; perhaps the last ray of light to rid the world of it’s dark times!

Oktoberfest 2008

I think the name spells Beer to millions of people around the world, but to a traditional Bavarian it is more of a way of having good fun (of course coupled with beer)!

The Eternal Quest

And here I lie
Trapped in ethereal waters
Of joy and sorrow,
Of ecstasy and pain,
Of life and death!

The Butterfly Effect

The beautiful butterfly
Faltered and fell
Its wings broken
Drifting away…

Life Beckons

The Sun sets in the West – that’s what we’ve been told; or made to believe rather. Well, it’s certainly not the case here. I know it may sound stupid. But this place, wherever it is, never seems to go dark, something that I can only feel, for I seem to have lost the power of my sight; strange though it may seem, I can feel the warmth of the light. Anyway, I’ve always believed it’s all just relative – this light & dark business. You might conclude that I am lying; that would be a hasty decision. You haven’t seen, ahem, gone through what I’ve experienced here!

Candle In The Night

The night was beautiful
The place was quiet
I had my companion found
In the melting candle’s wax!

Incongruous Thoughts

The question is ‘What happens after death‘? Do we go anywhere beyond? Do we still have some sort of physical restrictions or do we keep roaming the vastness of space unawares to the living and we ourselves unmindful of all thoughts? Do we still manage to touch and feel? One thing is for sure; our lease with the physical form that we carry will end. And with it shall end a life time of cravings and desires; burdens and borrowings; sufferings and sorrow; happiness and love??

An Ode To The Unsung

I was walking by the side
Of a lovely pond
On a delightful spring day,
When I noticed a flower blooming.

I decided to wait and watch
As the petals showed me,
The unseen beauty; a treasure trove,
A pleasure well hidden!

I must admit that I was lost
Forever under nature’s power
A force so overwhelming on my solitude;
A bliss unknown – unfolded to me!

God’s Play

At a time when people complain
That luck had never been
True to them and,
Divinity is a remedy untrue!

The Incomplete

That which is given
Purporting only to give
With no expectations
Will touch the soul
Much deeper than the same superior act
That is done for the own self
And with the intent of showing
Pity and sympathy!

That which is preached
Simply to preach
With no malice in words
Will emboss in the heart
Much stronger than words
Those teach the same fine things, with
An attempt to instill
Fear and contempt!
