Life Speaks

Ever fancied wishing something
That can never be yours?
Ever thought of things that could
Never happen in the first place?
I do all the time. And to tell you the truth,
I wish such things, every second of my existence.

Peace – Lost and Found

Man finds the perfect way to attain peace
And in a moment of generosity decided
To write it down for the future to see!

Another came and had a look at it and thought
‘These are words worth more than gold’
And shared it for more to see.

Then came another who felt he should probably
Publish his views on the great document.
And yet another felt he had found a flaw!

The Tower by the Sea

The tower stood lonely
Rocked by the sea;
The tower, told to be made of stone,
Was bent on guiding thee!

Years of struggle with the water
A forlorn sight it wore;
It was no great warrior
But a fighter nonetheless!

Waiting for her estranged kids
Guiding them all ashore;
The tower gleamed back into the darkness,
A noble crown dost she own!

When hopes are dashed amidst the rocks
With all hell breaking loose
The ocean turns out to be a deserting friend
Lo and behold – a faithful beam is seen!

Love to Hate

So what is everlasting?
Love or Hate…

I just pondered over this
And came up with the obvious…

Neither is!

Footprints

Here we go,
Walking on the shores of life
Speeding all the way!

We walk the line,
Like ants following one another
Crawling all along!

The shore is long,
And the waves are strong;
Pulling and sucking us all.

The sand is a quagmire,
All mushy and squishy,
But nevertheless we trod along.

All for Love

You know what I would do if I…“ he didn’t complete the sentence; his son cut in as usual.

I know what you would have done and I know what to do. Please spare the play acting and let me get on with my life.“

His retort left the old man staggering. But he knew his son needed him.

I can understand your anger. You know when I was your age I was in a similar…“

Do I have to tell you again and again? Have you no sense? Or do you think I am unfit to live on my own? I have the right to privacy. Please stop giving me discourses.“

All About Choice – FAQs

Every time you pause to make a decision, you are bound to have more than one choice at your hands, always. Now it is one thing that the choice you take moulds your life; at least that part of your life wherein you took the decision. So what happens to the other choice(s)?

It is the truth that the choice existed even before you made the decision. Whether you liked it or not is completely left to you; sometimes you would have end up taking one choice though you might not have disliked the other one(s).

Since it existed it continues to; it is not a differential entity but is rather a continuous one and is integrated with the very package of choices that was chosen for all decisions that need be taken under any given circumstance. I know choices don’t come in packages, but assuming so for better understanding…

Just Another Bus Journey

The world keeps moving.

When I say moving, I don’t mean revolving or rotating around something. I mean moving as in travelling in a linear path. And when I say so, it is only logical that everything associated with the world does.

Anything from the dust to sand to worms to birds to animals, everything does; and so do the sun, the planets and the whole cosmos – whatever you see and don’t, whatever you want to see and you don’t wish to either.

It is something like a very big bus journey, only the destination is still way too far for numbers to hold (in terms of any unit)!

In a way, for us, the world is the center of the universe – no matter what science may suggest.

When we are in a journey what’s more fun than having a riot? Play games, and when the bus is this big, we have so many to meet, so much to do; the limits of time are bound to be squashed by the mere dimensions of the bus!

The Joke’s On You

Like the thorns in rose,
Like satire masking a joke,
Like the dazzling auburn sky
Leading to gloom,
Like death marking life!

I Wonder…

If I can just capture every single thought,
Every dream and nightmare,
And spin a thread with all of
My greatest wishes and dirtiest ideas
What will I end up with?

What to call that feeling,
When I meet the love of my life
Tell I long to be with her and love her above all;
Is that the success of my love?
Or is it just the beginning of test of times?
