Dark Mind is the title of my blog. Title of this story is "Road to Freedom". To answer your question about the flight of the bird. Yes it did fly; as is evident from how I concluded the post. But I guess this can also be added along with "spread its wings". I wanted this childlike story to be told in a way that can reach the adult audience. We can elaborate on it while reading out to kids. Actually the purpose of the whole post is not just to tell a story, but it has more of a figurative meaning. What the feathery creature taught the world was there was no need to fight amongst each other to prove one is stronger. No one can beat that spirit that upholds peace and that self realization is the only way for every creature to progress.

Very creative and inspiring.
I had to assume a lot or the mind my default assumed a lot. However as a short story to be told to children i feel a few items missing.
1. Title ?? Dark Mind or Road to Freedom ? related to the actual story
2. Feathery creature had wings ?? didnt realize until it spread its wings. and did it fly ? a gap !!!
3. felt a gap before the line “taught the world”.. how ?

these could be covered by just a few more words included inbetween or even with just another line or two max.
