Day three in Kodai was totally unforgettable; the places we visited would remain as the REAL KODAI that we had missed for the past two days. After checking out from the hotel, we were told to prepare for a good 3KMS of trekking; I guess it was a warning worth heeding to!
The trek to the view points was going good till one point and then we hit the rough path. No roads/ man-made path of any kind. It was the stony path that nature had the sense to create esp. for lazy bones like me! But there were a lot of small shops to keep our tummy’s full
.
First stop was at Mountain Beauty – a place were we were supposed to be surrounded by mountains but ended up being trapped by mist – our rotten luck continued
We decided to visit it back after covering Dolphin Nose and Raam Paarai (translates to Raam Rock) /Echo Point. The trekking continued for some more time. We finally came across Dolphin Nose:
Going up to the tip of the hanging rock was pretty easy. But the moment I looked down, seemed the earth started spinning. It was with much difficulty that I managed to balance myself! We took a lot of snaps out there and enjoyed the mountain breeze by being seated at the edge of the rock
WOW – to say the least….the blog was impressive, choreographed to perfection. – Probably a travelers guide to Kodai. As rightly summarized the memories "lingers on!", evident from the narration and the pics illustrated here. This blog will for sure be a remainder of those priceless time spent amidst the nature's fascinating and marvelous creations on the planet.
