Just Another Bus Journey

The world keeps moving.

When I say moving, I don’t mean revolving or rotating around something. I mean moving as in travelling in a linear path. And when I say so, it is only logical that everything associated with the world does.

Anything from the dust to sand to worms to birds to animals, everything does; and so do the sun, the planets and the whole cosmos – whatever you see and don’t, whatever you want to see and you don’t wish to either.

It is something like a very big bus journey, only the destination is still way too far for numbers to hold (in terms of any unit)!

In a way, for us, the world is the center of the universe – no matter what science may suggest.

When we are in a journey what’s more fun than having a riot? Play games, and when the bus is this big, we have so many to meet, so much to do; the limits of time are bound to be squashed by the mere dimensions of the bus!

A Vulture’s Dairy

Day 1
Hi there… I am Jack the vulture. My nest is way over there, beyond those mountains. I can see it from here, but am not so sure if you will be able to! I’ve been living in this arid desert since I was born.

You see those dunes moving beneath us. Yeah! Well I’ve seen them do the same for ever. Damn sands, they never get tired do they? Keep shifting from one place to another troubling everyone. But I don’t want to curse the desert, because it has fed me to what I am.

Finful Cravings

You know sometimes I wonder what we were doing just before being born on this planet. I believe every creature has the same god and I guess we were all chit-chatting with god just before being born in here.

What were we talking about? I guess god would have asked us, so what do you want to be this time? And guess what would I have replied?

“Me, I want to be a fish!”

I Wonder…

If I can just capture every single thought,
Every dream and nightmare,
And spin a thread with all of
My greatest wishes and dirtiest ideas
What will I end up with?

What to call that feeling,
When I meet the love of my life
Tell I long to be with her and love her above all;
Is that the success of my love?
Or is it just the beginning of test of times?

The Warrior

Standing amidst the stench
Of the one thousand dead men
That he had heaped on the bloody ground
The warrior, clad in his unyielding armor
And brandishing a razor sharp sword,
Thumped his chest and laughed at the world.

Día De Juicio

Justice has a strange way of implementing itself. No matter how fast or how far the wrong doer runs away from his misdoings, law catches up and rebukes the guilty. It is not always the law established by men for this is perhaps the weakest of laws when it comes to castigating the sinner; many a men do get away from law made by men equally wrong! But there are certain forces in nature which help those in distress, those who have been wronged to avenge the injustice that was done onto them. Death is not always the ultimate punishment, but probably not in this case.

Lost In The Desert

Ahoy there rider!
You, who comes to explore me;
I welcome thee to my open lands
Welcome thee to thy death!

Men die in their prime
Thinking I welcome them with open arms.
To intrude is fatal and
There are no exceptions to this rule.

Why Is It?

Why is it, that,
Caste ridden society can never progress
Yet no society has known to be sans-caste?

Why is it, that,
A man is tongue tied seeing his beloved
When they are meant to chit-chat for eternity?

Why is it, that,
Men need borders to keep organized
Whilst the heart roams scot-free?

Terrorism

The word sums it all up, I guess. An unfortunate and unforeseen force, created by the arms race; there is no stopping it now for it spreads its stink all directions. A modern day terrorist need not be a bearded man with Arab clothing and a Kalashnikov. Of course such silhouettes still exist, but like any group with extreme intentions they are learning the act of survival.

You meet Sam at the XY airport – a guy who looks handsome, intelligent, well learned, and well mannered and most importantly can look straight into your eyes while striking a conversation. He has to board his plane and departs in haste and quickly blows the plane to smithereens!

The Great Puppet Show

The puppets dangle from the strings,
The puppets are here to dance,
Moving to every little movement
The puppeteer decides to make.

The puppeteer swings a thread,
Cuts another, and entwines two in one;
The puppets know not what is next,
For, there are no rules to this game.

They have no senses, but believe they do,
For the puppeteer is a master at this play.
To think with one end and survive with another,
That’s all there is to this silly little game!
