A quick re-look on the unplanned events that marred our well prepared trip to our dream place 🙁
What promised to be once in a lifetime kind of trip turned out to be less than mundane, a shame to the less ordinary; it was a classic tale of “so near yet so far”! In a scale of one to ten, 10 being the most happiest and 1 (quite obviously) the saddest I would rate the trip to my dream place (and that of my wife too) as -1!

“You know what I would do if I…“ he didn’t complete the sentence; his son cut in as usual.
“I know what you would have done and I know what to do. Please spare the play acting and let me get on with my life.“
His retort left the old man staggering. But he knew his son needed him.
“I can understand your anger. You know when I was your age I was in a similar…“
“Do I have to tell you again and again? Have you no sense? Or do you think I am unfit to live on my own? I have the right to privacy. Please stop giving me discourses.“

If I can just capture every single thought,
Every dream and nightmare,
And spin a thread with all of
My greatest wishes and dirtiest ideas
What will I end up with?
What to call that feeling,
When I meet the love of my life
Tell I long to be with her and love her above all;
Is that the success of my love?
Or is it just the beginning of test of times?
