Events that in recent past have engulfed humanity to sadness. Scenes that seem to repeat themselves from a nightmare, that we long to forget. Have we forgotten that showing kindness and empathy only makes us stronger and not weak?
Several decades ago when we were waking ourselves from a nightmare that the world war was, all eyes turned East to salvage some pride. It needed a Gandhi for the world to come to the realization that what we really needed was a war without weapons, a fight without words.

A short trip to the old town of Regensburg
Here are some pics taken at Regensburg – a beautiful little town in Bavaria. Nothing special about this trip; a visit to yet another old town 🙂

Swiss is a dream place for both me and my wife. It was rather unfortunate that we couldn’t make the trip a success during our last visit to this land. But things turned out to be even more lovely and lively when we visited the place again with our baby boy!
I’ve imagined this many a time, but thoughts are not close enough describe the feeling I’ve had over the past three days. We came to Swiss again at last! The turbulent personal situations we went through just about one year back only made the trip sweeter!

A day in the arms of Mother Nature!
I never realized that even a weekend trip could refresh oneself so much. Now I understand why the Black Forest area stands out as one of Germany’s most favorite holiday spots!

A trip that was more about the Cologne Cathedral than anything else!

The weather played spoil sport during our short trip to Passau, but despite that we did have a short enjoyable trip at this great place.
My house owner once told me that “if you haven’t seen Passau then you haven’t been to Germany yet“! After a day’s trip to this famous tourist spot, that is void of monumental attractions and offers a rather naturalistic beauty, I guess he couldn’t have been more right!

My weekend trip to the sleepy and beautiful neighbourhood of Garmisch Partenkirchen.
I am back from a great trip to Garmisch. The feeling is mixed as this was my first real trip with my son but it was rather too short – as always ;)!

Spending a day at the nearby zoo, with your family, on a sunny weekend, can be so much fun!
I must admit I am not a big fan of Zoos! I think I have hardly been to just one or two of these in my life. But my recent visit to the Nürnberg Tiergarten was such simple fun I am wondering why I have skipped the visits to these wonderful places during all my earlier trips!

My first time tandem jumping experience.
Giving a rating of one to ten for the most craziest things I’ve done till date, this one is sure up there. But somehow I can’t help but feel as fresh as a person being given a second chance to live!

My short trip to Stuttgart.
