Isn’t it fitting that it takes a heart to balance the rhythm of life and love to make some sense of our existence? Here are my thoughts which try to join the, rather, vague dots connecting love, life and that divine touch.
Here’s something that’s never going to make practical sense. The chink in our “survival armour”. The impractical solution that just exacerbated our every day problems. Thanks God!

While everyone sees an end to the career of a great cricketer, I feel the concept of Sachin is what we ought to be really bothered about and that will live forever.
While some strive to achieve glory despite all their human limitations, some are bestowed talent so immense that the world simply cannot help but take notice. Then there are those rare few who are endowed with prowess beyond wildest imagination and yet somehow manage to stretch the limits by sheer hard work, perseverance and above all humility. They are whom I’ll call divine!

We have a very strange history here on earth. For anything that we make, we seek ways to destroy. For all the heart breaks we suffer, we still long to love and do good. I was thinking what god would be thinking, looking at us. My thoughts here.
I wonder what god will have to say
While looking back at us
Will there be pride and joy?
Or anguish and disdain?

We cling on to everything we hold dear; addicted to our materials – even when knowing, within, that we are just a fleeting moment in the passage of time. Nature shows everyday how it all works; that everything is bound to pass away. Yet even when walking the last line of life it is the human nature to observe and yet not realize. We are left asking just a little bit more.
I stood by the shore,
Wide eyed – in rapt attention;
It was a scene straight from a dream
As I saw the water rise and fall.

That day when we rid ourselves of corruption and greed; that moment when we fight, not among each other but FOR; that fleeting passage of time when we realize WE matter, then we can call ourselves FREE. Till then let us tread the hard path!
Long ago, when the world was chaotic, at a time, when no one knew the meaning of peace, when everything was gloomy, God decided to create a fine feathery creature; perhaps the last ray of light to rid the world of it’s dark times!

This is what a billion “mad” heads were thinking about over the past few weeks and we have it at last – we have the bragging rights now to call ourselves Champions of the World!
I read the score card wondering if the fool’s day had come in a bit late! It was probably my hallucination – after all I wanted it so selfishly for the past few weeks now. It never sank in really that the day has come to pass when we can call ourselves “world champions” at last!

Just crying my heart out.
Lost in trance, I move around
Hoping the shackles would be broken
By your true love!
Half here and half there
I exist as a mere shadow
In your dreams!
Yet you continue to play
As if nothing happened
All that I can do is
To pray for you,
Sincerely, honestly, truthfully!

Sentiments apart, what would god think as a great gesture moving us closer to the higher altar? A poem touching the greater philosophy of life
The beautiful butterfly
Faltered and fell
Its wings broken

When moments seem dark and forlorn what is it that changes our lives suddenly to happy and unforgettable ones?
At a time when people complain
That luck had never been
True to them and,
Divinity is a remedy untrue!

This is a sarcastic tale of a little fish in the big ocean and his admiration for the ‘mightiest’ creatures of this planet! All’s fair in the so called ‘circle of life’ 🙂
“You know sometimes I wonder what we were doing just before being born on this planet. I believe every creature has the same god and I guess we were all chit-chatting with god just before being born in here.”
“What were we talking about? I guess god would have asked us, so what do you want to be this time? And guess what would I have replied?‘
“Me, I want to be a fish!”
