My mind is lost
In the mystic land
The one I hear in yore
A legend that is now long gone!

I’ve imagined this many a time, but thoughts are not close enough describe the feeling I’ve had over the past three days. We came to Swiss again at last! The turbulent personal situations we went through just about one year back only made the trip sweeter!
I am back from a great trip to Garmisch. The feeling is mixed as this was my first real trip with my son but it was rather too short – as always

Salzburg trip in a gist…
A long pending travelogue!
This one’s about our gang’s trip to Palakkad (Kerala), at the end of second week of March.
I’ll try to be as brief as possible with the words and let the pics speak for themselves!
The adventure started even before the trip began with a nail biting finish by the guys to the platform just as the train started moving away. It was an awesome trip filled with loads of laughter, fun and some really good sight-seeing.
As we reached the final few hours of our amazing and weird journey we still doubted catching the train. And our doubts became more pronounced as we ended up getting stuck at a toll gate. Some lucky day we were having!

Someone rightly said life is full of surprises. I realized they couldn’t have been more truthful especially after having experienced a surprise at the very next turn of our journey.

The truck was not just carrying logs, it was overstuffed with it. Some morons had decided to maximize their profits by fattening the load per trip.

You can put it off as a series of (most) unfortunate events or that some demi-god was having fun by playing pranks with us, but I would simply surmise it as the result of playing too many games of hide-n-seek.
We started our way downward curling and twining down the slopes of Munnar. Most of the people had slept probably because of mere exhaustion of all those aforementioned games. We could hardly have traveled for half an hour when the bus grinded to a halt around a curve.

Our team trip to Munnar-Tekkadi went really well. The accommodation was good, the food was okay, we visited all the spots we wanted and overall the organization was really nice. It was too good to be true, until we started the return journey down hill that is…
We knew we were running a bit late already and only around 10 hours of time left to catch the train at Madurai. The driver informed us that it would take anywhere between 4-5 hours to reach the station and we can catch the train with a lot of spare time left.
