My previous post was almost a pessimistic view point of today’s world. Looking back I realized a much more positive outlook was in order. This is also my entry to the first round of an organizational level essay contest (with a word limit of 1000 words). This made the cut from around 700 entries to the last 8.
I was probably around 14 years old when I was first exposed to a real boy’s toy – a mid-90’s gaming console. It wasn’t mine, of course, but that of a friend. I knew then that I’d found my first love, but also felt that handling stuff like these was probably just once in a lifetime opportunity for me.
I wouldn’t notice then that my bare necessities were evolving. Little did I know that, in under a couple of years, consoles like these would be obsolete and that my life will be inundated with electronics (of all sort) in more ways than I’d care to remember!

Thinking about very simplistic but an essential thought of life
The world is a dot. That’s right, you heard me. It is a dot. How big a dot? Well probably as big (or as small) as this one – .
In all probability even smaller. There is no guessing how much.
When the world comes to a dot what are we? We are naught! Yup nothing more than nothingness, just a mere dot’s distance from fading away. Fading away into oblivion, waiting to be nothing more than anything and no more than nothing.
