A retrospective look at an year gone by in a jiffy! And thoughts for the year to come.

It’s that wonderful feeling all over again. Time to start everything afresh. It’s new year time, of course. 2011 has been a year of downs and ups. Kind of bumpy, and I am sure looking forward to 2012.

I Wonder…

All those things that make us ‘think’ and ‘feel’. Questions that arise in those special moments, if given a chance to foresee them all – how will things work out to be?!

If I can just capture every single thought,
Every dream and nightmare,
And spin a thread with all of
My greatest wishes and dirtiest ideas
What will I end up with?

What to call that feeling,
When I meet the love of my life
Tell I long to be with her and love her above all;
Is that the success of my love?
Or is it just the beginning of test of times?

Thoughts

Is it really worth it? To curb OUR thoughts and emotions considering a few sarcastic remarks?

Sometimes we think of something really well and good, probably out of ordinary, but certainly not out of focus. Then we start to review our thoughts and put ourselves in the shoes of Mr. X and Ms. Y and think what would they feel when they read this state of our mind? How would they react to this opinion of mine? Isn’t what I am doing incorrect in the eyes of him/ her? Wouldn’t it be great if they thought like so and so? And finally we end up doing the unthinkable – revisit those thoughts.

Pointless Ponderings

Thinking about very simplistic but an essential thought of life

The world is a dot. That’s right, you heard me. It is a dot. How big a dot? Well probably as big (or as small) as this one.

In all probability even smaller. There is no guessing how much.

When the world comes to a dot what are we? We are naught! Yup nothing more than nothingness, just a mere dot’s distance from fading away. Fading away into oblivion, waiting to be nothing more than anything and no more than nothing.
