In all effectiveness fear fuels hatred, lust beckons anguish, greed sows the seed of misery and jealousy douses the flame of love. If only we know what we do to ourselves through words said and unsaid, through actions done and withheld, then, perhaps there is more chance to free ourselves from unwonted ends, escape from unexpected twists of fate and maybe even find a better salvation to our otherwise miserable souls!
Lost in trance, I move around
Hoping the shackles would be broken
By your true love!
Half here and half there
I exist as a mere shadow
In your dreams!
Yet you continue to play
As if nothing happened
Between us!
All that I can do is
To pray for you,
Sincerely, honestly, truthfully!
The beautiful butterfly
Faltered and fell
Its wings broken

In undeniable rhapsody was I,
A blissful dreamland my life doted!
Hitherto imagined life had nothing beyond,
Until the tempest stepped in my life!
When the whole world seems
To indulge in “certain” immoral acts,
When your options are but restricted
To, the much biased, right and wrong,
What will you chose – a safe mistake or an unsafe truth?
I was walking by the side
Of a lovely pond
On a delightful spring day,
When I noticed a flower blooming.
I decided to wait and watch
As the petals showed me,
The unseen beauty; a treasure trove,
A pleasure well hidden!
I must admit that I was lost
Forever under nature’s power
A force so overwhelming on my solitude;
A bliss unknown – unfolded to me!
At a time when people complain
That luck had never been
True to them and,
Divinity is a remedy untrue!
That which is given
Purporting only to give
With no expectations
Will touch the soul
Much deeper than the same superior act
That is done for the own self
And with the intent of showing
Pity and sympathy!
That which is preached
Simply to preach
With no malice in words
Will emboss in the heart
Much stronger than words
Those teach the same fine things, with
An attempt to instill
Fear and contempt!
Ever fancied wishing something
That can never be yours?
Ever thought of things that could
Never happen in the first place?
I do all the time. And to tell you the truth,
I wish such things, every second of my existence.
Man finds the perfect way to attain peace
And in a moment of generosity decided
To write it down for the future to see!
Another came and had a look at it and thought
‘These are words worth more than gold’
And shared it for more to see.
Then came another who felt he should probably
Publish his views on the great document.
And yet another felt he had found a flaw!
