The Taste of True Faith

A story where one kid’s sacrifice means another’s gain in this world. I hope, by reading this, some kind of balance is seen about the way the world works!

For *Kwanza* it was a view unlike any other. He had never seen anything like that before. Even his travel worn dad looked stumped. Several minutes would have passed, but they remained rooted to the spot not knowing how to take in the scene in front of their eyes.

Meanwhile, *Sukhwinder* who was watching them from his first floor bedroom window knew instantly that the pair were probably one of the many people whom his dad and mom were talking about, for the past several days.

He immediately rushed into the nearby room and picked up the pike pole, that was one of the many odd and unique weapons that his dad collected as a hobby. He doubled down the stairs and darted past the prayer room with an athletic gait. In no time he was right in-between Kwanza’s dad and the entrance to his home.
