As news channels get sicker (gore and violence shown) by the day I wonder if there is absolutely nothing worthwhile to talk about!
It’s been a long time since I heard pleasant news on TV. The reporting channels seem to be very busy scooping up the latest filth, add a little bit of spice and call it the way to live and showcase it happily to the whole world. And the entire world falls for the crap without even raising a question!

An outdated post on why my blog is named (as Hello World) so.
Before some one asks me about the weird and obsolete title that I have chosen for my blog. I wish to answer…
A few months ago if you had asked me what a blog is I would have said it was a strange creature, probably a slimy one too, more or less like a mud loving earth worm. Boy was I mistaken. You see, even the greatest creation of man kind (read MS Word) did not recognize it as a proper word, so why should, being a puny little mortal, go on to give it a damn?

How many really have the courage to take the road less taken when given a chance?
“So you are really planning to take that exam?” Raghu was almost distraught about his friend Ramanan’s decision.
“Huh yeah. Now please don’t keep staring at me like that!” Ramanan was trying to recollect the last few chapters in the course which he had prepared in a lot of hurry.
“Sure of course I won’t! Who am I just another servant for great people like you.” The sarcasm in Raghu’s voice was inescapable.

“What is your problem with fire?” asked Shyam.
“Nothing man, really!” Guna tried to lie to his friend.
“Cut the crap, will you? Anyone could notice you were not so very comfortable during the festival.” said Shyam referring to the Bhogi which was a day back.
“Okay. I’ll tell you, but promise me you won’t ever blurt it to anyone else. Will you?”

A simple story to encourage all those simple and down to earth values.
Ok. This one was return in a rather peaceful state of mind. I wanted to write a story which is absolutely bland to the senses but still has some small message to convey. If you are looking for some thrilling/ action filled story, you better look elsewhere. This one is going to be as simple as a “Plain Dosa”…

My first story; an attempt at ‘twist’ing the tale 😀
Just a thought which occurred to me while going through a magazine which described the killing of thousands of Fowls during the Bird Flu attack…

This is my first blog and I would like to talk about one of my first times. My first interview. It is pretty amazing how different each interview can be. But there is nothing like the first time!! So here goes…
